My goals

Tomorrow will be the first day of the start of my university life, and I am looking forward to it. I moved into the new studio near the school today, the unit was small but decent. So from now on, it will be a total new environment for me. I am keen to enjoy my study in the following year, yet there are several factors I would like to emphasize, which will assist me to perform well on my journey.

First of all, I want to clarify the goal for the next year. It is explicit that I want to graduate as soon as possible, while without sacrificing the quality of my study. Therefore, my target should be complete my course with high standard, which allows me to proof my study ability to the faculty. In that situation, they will permit me to enroll more than four units per trimester. In conclusion, my final goal should be learning all subject with endeavor. That is the only way to cover both quality and efficiency for my study. Furthermore, the training of my personal skills, including language, stock market participation and other professions will benefit my career must take part too.

After defining the goal, my next step is to develop detailed strategies for achieving it. The university study requires different features, since the teaching session is rather limited and student’s self-study ability is expected. As a consequence, I must participate in the sufficient self-study period, which my initial anticipation is eight hours per subject. This 8 hours is allocated with two hours of preview, two hours of revision and four hours of additional materials reading at the library. In order to maintain the effectiveness of the study, I need to complete all the exercises related to the prescribed textbook, as well as the practices provided on the cloud study platform. In addition, my daily writing exercise my involve the actual application of my course study. That will help me to comprehend the knowledge profoundly. Moreover, I should join the work shop arranged by the school, which enhances my study techniques plus makes me to socialize with other students. For the personal skills training, I will insist on writing daily essay and expanding vocabulary. I will also join the student community/ interest group to practice my oral and audition ability. In fact, there are various study assistants course provides by the university, thus I will choose some of them to complete. The study of the stock market is going to be another important objective for the following year. I will try to apply for new issued shares first, because it is currently a nil-risk high return market in China. Besides that, I will follow the financial manager in sina.com and try to understand the reason behind their actions. It will be hard at first, by along with my study and effort. I should be able to make my own decisions on the stock market. At that time, I will concentrate on the shares that connect Australia and China/Hongkong stock market. It will definitely benefit my career in the future.
